How We Work

Surge protection device design service

Based on current standards, analyze product structure and design a surge protector that meets the requirements. Determine the protection components (MOV.TVS.GDT) of the surge protector, and clarify the protection object and protection level. After confirming the above, you can start the design from the inside out, including plastic parts, metal parts, circuit boards, etc.

After the design is completed and the drawings are confirmed, 3D printing of each component is carried out for preliminary trial assembly. If there are no obvious problems, the mold is developed. After the molds of each component are completed, the mold samples are tested, and the samples are assembled to analyze whether there are any problems with the coordination between the components. Optimize the design for existing problems, such as adjusting component parameters, improving circuit layout, etc. After the adjustments are completed, various tests are carried out at the Thor Lightning Protection Test Center. After the tests are qualified, mass production will be carried out. The entire process of designing and producing surge protectors is aimed at improving the protection effect and reliability of surge protectors.
